Make A Custom Connector For Power Automate & Power Apps

Connectors are the lifeblood of the Power Platform suite and enable integration with other systems necessary for your business. Unfortunately, not every system imaginable has a connector in the Marketplace which leaves a large gap for leveraging tools like Power Automate and Power Apps. For those who are new to custom connectors, Matthew will do a demonstration of how to make your 1st connector and why it is valuable to do it at all. Then, we will kick it up a notch for and look at how you can use C# code to improve your connectors and do some cool tricks.

Matthew Devaney is a Senior Power Platform Consultant at Hitachi Solutions. Troy has worked in a number of positions from Helpdesk and asset management to mobile app JavaScript developer to Power Platform developer, focusing on Power Automate and canvas Power Apps. Prior to joining Hitachi Solutions, he was most recently the HRIS Administrator at AccuWeather. In this position he was responsible for a number of systems, including SAP SuccessFactors, ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse and DocuSign. During 2020, he passed both exams for Power Platform App Maker and Developer Associate, followed by Power Platform Functional Consultant in 2021.
